Studies from T. Mijovic and co-authors have provided new information about thyroid cancer

"Obesity has been linked to numerous diseases including thyroid cancer, but the exact nature of the relationship, especially with respect to patients with thyroid nodules, remains unclear. The objective of this study was to evaluate the impact of body mass index (BMI) on thyroid cancer risk in a population of patients with indeterminate cytology on fine-needle aspiration biopsy (FNAB)," scientists writing in the journal Thyroid report.
