Study Proves Macular Health Dissolves up to Five and a Half Times Faster Than Many Competing AMD Vitamin Supplements

2010 DEC 20 -- According to a recent study, the Macular Health vitamin supplement dissolves up to five and a half times faster than other leading eye vitamin supplements. The study indicated that Macular Health, which slows the progression of vision loss due to age-related macular degeneration (AMD), dissolves in 12 minutes, with competing brands taking up to 65 minutes to dissolve.

This news is important to macular degeneration sufferers because the US Pharmacopeia Committee of Revision (USP) recently set standards to test the ability of oral (by-mouth) nutrient delivery systems to disintegrate and dissolve in the human digestive tract. USP standards state...
