2012 FEB 27 -- A new study, "Effect of experimental low back pain on neuromuscular control of the trunk in healthy volunteers and patients with chronic low back pain," is now available. "Studies of electromyographic (EMG) activity and lumbopelvic rhythm have led to a better understanding of neuromuscular alterations in chronic low back pain (cLBP) patients. Whether these changes reflect adaptations to chronic pain or are induced by acute pain is still unclear," scientists in Trois Rivieres, Canada report.
