Coalition announces partnership to advance national advocacy programs

The Coalition for Pulmonary Fibrosis (CPF) announced that it has partnered with the National Coalition of Autoimmune Patient Groups (NCAPG) to broaden the CPF's national advocacy efforts on behalf of patients and families fighting idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and the healthcare professionals who treat them.

Published research shows a potential connection between certain types of autoimmune disease - such as rheumatoid arthritis, collagen vascular disease, and scleroderma - and pulmonary fibrosis.
