New York managed care service company Maximus awarded $73.7 million 2-year healthcare contract

Maximus (MMS), a provider of government services, announced it has been awarded a 2-year, $73.7 million contract to continue providing Medicaid managed care enrollment services to more than 2.1 million individuals receiving public health insurance in New York City, as well as Nassau and Suffolk Counties. The contract has a 2-year extension option, followed by another 1-year extension option. Maximus has operated New York Medicaid Choice, the Medicaid managed care enrollment program, since August 1998.
