New investigation results, "Outbreak of Chlamydia pneumoniae infection in a Japanese nursing home, 1999-2000," are detailed in a study published in Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology. In this recently published study, investigators in Tokyo, Japan conducted a study "To identify risk factors for infection and severe illness due to Chlamydia pneumoniae.
