Reports from Washington University, U.S., highlight recent research in orthopedics. Study 1: Research findings, "A prospective evaluation of patients with isolated orthopedic injuries transferred to a level I trauma center," are discussed in a new report. In this recently published article, scientists in the United States conducted a study "To assess the indications for, the demographics of, and the appropriateness of patient transfers for orthopedic injuries to a level I trauma center.
