Colorimetric microarray assay for allergen-responsive IgE developed

A novel colorimetric microarray assay enables high-throughput, accurate screening for allergen susceptibility. "With the existence of several thousand unique human allergens, a multiplex format, such as protein microarrays, is an attractive option for allergy screening," immunologists in California explained.
