Drug development company announces publication of Alzheimer preclinical studies

Samaritan Pharmaceuticals Inc. (LIV) announced that the journal of NEUROPharmacology published Samaritan's preclinical studies evaluating drug candidates, SP-08 and its derivatives, as a possible new approach to fight against Alzheimer disease. Dr. Janet Greeson, CEO of Samaritan stated, "Alzheimer disease is a progressive condition which damages the areas of the brain involved in memory, intelligence, judgment, language skills and behavior. With Alzheimer, amyloid protein builds up in the brain and makes it difficult for one nerve cell to communicate with another."
