Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder



U.S. Patent office sends allowance for attention deficit, hyperactivity drug



August 15th, 2005

Spectrum Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (SPPI) announced that it has received from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) a Notice of Allowance for its patent application for SPI-339 entitled "Methods for Treating Cognitive/Attention Deficit Disorders Using Tetrahydroindolone Analogues and Derivatives."

This patent, when issued, will protect SPI-339 for use in the treatment of attention deficit/hyperactivity disorders (ADHD) and other neurological disorders and will not expire until 2021.
