Medical device company named to Russell 3000, 2000 and Microcap indexes

VNUS Medical Technologies, Inc. (VNUS), a provider of medical devices for the minimally invasive treatment of venous reflux disease, announced its membership in the broad-market Russell 3000 Index, the small-cap Russell 2000 Index and the new Russell Microcap Index. Russell Investment Group announced the annual reconstitution of its family of U.S. indexes on June 24, 2005, and recently posted the current membership for these indexes on its web site.
