Australian cGMP manufacturing facility opened

Invitrogen Corporation (IVGN), a provider of essential life science technologies for disease research and drug discovery, announced the opening of a new cGMP bioproduction facility focused on development of safe and consistent bovine sera products and reagents used in basic research and the production of vaccines and biotherapeutic drugs for world markets. The 1,000 square meter facility, located in New South Wales, was first announced in August of 2004 as part of an ongoing expansion of Invitrogen's Australian operations.
