Imaging company reports 53% increase in revenue

Fischer Imaging Corp. (FIMG) reported revenue of $17.8 million for the third quarter ended September 30, 2004, a 53% increase over revenue of $11.6 million for the third quarter of 2003.

On an operating basis, the company's loss narrowed year-over-year to $1.7 million from $2.1 million as a result of improved product and service revenue.

Net loss for the 2004 third quarter was $1.7 million compared with a net loss of $2.0 million in the comparable 2003 period. Net loss per fully diluted share for the third quarter 2004 was $.19 compared with a net loss of $.22 per fully diluted share for the third quarter of 2003.
