Isothiocyanates induced nitric oxide and prostaglandins in Raw 264.7 macrophages

"Beta-phenylethyl (PEITC) and 8-methylsulphinyloctyl isothiocyanates (MSO) represent two phytochemical constituents present in watercress Rorippa nasturtium aquaticum, with known chemo-preventative properties," scientists reported in the journal Nitric Oxide: Biology and Chemistry/Official Journal of the Nitric Oxide Society.
