Devices company reports patent lawsuits against AngioDynamics, Vascular Solutions

VNUS Medical Technologies, Inc. (VNUS), a provider of medical devices for the minimally invasive treatment of venous reflux disease, announced that it has asserted patent infringement claims in the United States District Court, Northern District of California, against AngioDynamics, Inc. (ANGO) and Vascular Solutions, Inc. (VASC), respectively.

AngioDynamics and Vascular Solutions market endovenous laser ablation products for use in procedures that VNUS believes infringe several of its patents.
