New acute leukemia research has been reported by scientists at Hokkaido University, Medical Department

According to recent research from Sapporo, Japan, "Invasive fungal infection is one of the major causes of death in neutropenic patients undergoing allogeneic stem cell transplantation (SCT). Although prophylactic antifungal therapy with fluconazole (FLCZ) has become the standard care for these patients, there remains a need for more effective and cost-beneficial alternative drugs."
