"The ThinPrep Imaging System (TIS) has been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for use to decrease the number of false-negative results in ThinPrep (TP) gynecologic specimens and increase cytotechnology productivity," scientists writing in the journal Cancer Cytopathology report.
