Researchers' work from Heinrich-Heine University focuses on Alzheimer disease

New investigation results, 'Detection of changed regional cerebral blood flow in mild cognitive impairment and early Alzheimer's dementia by perfusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging,' are detailed in a study published in NeuroImage. According to recent research from Germany, "The utility of perfusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging (PW-MRI) for detecting changes in regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF) in patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and early Alzheimer's disease (AD) was evaluated.
