The European American Chamber of Commerce hosted its first event, a panel discussion at The Harvard Club on May 29th titled "The Consequences of the Current Euro and U.S. Dollar Exchange Rate on the M&A Industry in Europe and the United States." Opening the event was James D. Rosener, president of EACC's New York chapter and managing partner of Pepper Hamilton LLP. Discussion kicked off with a speech by J. Onno de Beaufort Wijnholds, permanent representative in Washington, D.C. for the European Central Bank, which was followed by a vibrant panel discussion presented by five specialists representing Deloitte LLP, UBS, The Blackstone Group and Pepper Hamilton LLP.
