Hundreds of Advocates Travel to Nation's Capitol During Second Annual Habitat on the Hill Advocacy and Legislative Conference

Habitat for Humanity International is taking its message about the need for decent, affordable housing for all people to the nation's capitol, sponsoring the second annual Habitat on the Hill Advocacy and Legislative Conference, June 16-18. The conference is designed to help attendees implement advocacy locally and includes a day of lobbying on Capitol Hill. Hundreds of Habitat advocates will join Jonathan Reckford, CEO of Habitat for Humanity International, and visit Members of Congress on Tuesday, June 17, to discuss key issues, including the importance of passing a national housing trust fund targeted to low-income households.
