Argentine Bicentenary Non-Binding International Competition for Ideas and Images for 21st Century Buenos Aires

Although the competition will not be binding, its ambition is to foster an interaction of proposals on the new "landmark of Argentina" for the 21st Century. In this way, the goal is to create a room for ideas aimed at reshaping the skyline of the City of Buenos Aires. The competition will challenge competitors to conceive an architectural plan for the Rio de la Plata riverfront area that stretches from the Costanera Norte section to the La Boca neighborhood, passing through Puerto Madero, Retiro (railway and bus terminal and fiscal lands), the Plaza San Martin park, the Immigrants Hotel, and the Navy, Catalinas and Puerto Madero buildings.
