William A. Hazel, Jr., M.D., Re-Elected to AMA Board of Trustees

The American Medical Association (AMA) announced the re-election of William A. Hazel, Jr., M.D., a Northern Virginia orthopaedic surgeon, to a second consecutive term on the AMA Board of Trustees. "I am honored to be re-elected to a position to help physicians achieve our shared goal of providing the best quality care to our patients," said Dr. Hazel. Dr. Hazel has been a participant in the AMA House of Delegates, the association's policy-making body, since 1984, and is currently the secretary of the AMA Board of Trustees and chair of the AMA Compensation Committee.
