Hologic, Inc. (NASDAQ:HOLX) announced that the Federal Trade Commission granted early termination of the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, as amended (the "HSR Act"), on June 24, 2008, in connection with Hologic's previously announced tender offer for all of the outstanding shares of the common stock of Third Wave Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:TWTI).
