Today's hearing by the House Education and Labor Committee addresses one of the most important issues facing the construction industry - the safety of the working men and women who go to work every day to build America.

There are a lot of issues debated in Congress where reasonable minds can disagree, but there can be no dispute that the recent wave of construction injuries and fatalities across the country is unacceptable.
