AMA Calls On U.S. Senate to Pass H.R. 6331 Today to Preserve Seniors' Access to Care

As the U.S. Senate prepares to vote on legislation that would stop current Medicare cuts to physicians, the American Medical Association (AMA) is calling on Senators to cast a yes vote on H.R. 6331 to preserve seniors' access to care. In June, the House passed the Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act of 2008 (H.R. 6331) by an overwhelming bipartisan vote of 355 to 59.
