Appleton Reports Second Quarter 2008 Results

Appleton's net sales from continuing operations for second quarter ended June 29, 2008, increased 2.9 percent to $249.8 million compared to net sales from continuing operations of $242.8 million for the same quarter of 2007. Appleton reported income from continuing operations of $0.3 million for second quarter 2008 compared to a loss from continuing operations of $0.9 million for the same quarter of 2007.
