Nebraska Abortion Numbers Hit 34-Year Low; 40 Days for Life Campaigns to Continue Trend

"The latest report from the Center for Public Affairs Research at the University of Nebraska at Omaha reveals that abortion numbers in Nebraska have dropped by 50 percent since 1990, reaching their lowest level since 1974, the year after abortion was first decriminalized," said David Bereit, national campaign director of 40 Days for Life. "Because Nebraska mothers are turning away from abortion in record numbers, the state now has only two remaining abortion facilities.
