Authors' Licensing & Collecting Society Distributes GBP5.6 Million to Writers as the Government Debates Policy on Authors' Rights

The Authors' Licensing & Collecting Society (ALCS) distributed GBP5.6

million to 13,265 members on 15 September, part of an estimated GBP19 million which will be distributed to writers over the course of 2008.
