California Department of Housing and Community Development Celebrates the Signing of AB 2494 - the Housing Related Parks Program

The California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) applauds the signing of AB 2494, the Housing Related Parks Program, by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. The legislation, authored by Assemblymember Anna Caballero, will create incentives and reward local government for building affordable housing with grant money for much needed parks in their communities. "This money will reward communities by enhancing the quality of life in these neighborhoods. We hope that all of our communities can benefit from more parks and more affordable housing," said Lynn L.
