Governor Signs Priority Legislation to Strengthen California's Struggling Housing Industry

The California Professional Association of Specialty Contractors (CALPASC) applauds the Governor for signing Assembly Bill 2738 by Assemblymember Dave Jones (D-Sacramento), a bill that will have a positive impact on the California economy, the construction sector and individual trade contractors. "The fact that the bill had bi-partisan support and was quickly approved by the Governor is proof of how important it will be in restoring fairness in the construction industry and to the survival of California's trade contractors," said Brad Diede, CALPASC executive vice president. "We appreciate the Governor's consideration of AB 2738 as a priority bill." ...
