National Patient Advocate Foundation Commends U.S. Senate's Unanimous Passage of Michelle's Law



October 19th, 2008

National Patient Advocate Foundation (NPAF) - a national, non-profit organization dedicated to the mission of creating avenues of improved patient access to health care through public policy reform at the state and federal levels - today praised the U.S. Senate's unanimous passage of Michelle's Law (H.R. 2851), which will extend existing health insurance coverage for dependent college students for up to one year in the event of a medically necessary leave of absence.
