San Bernardino Police Officer Wins National Scholarship Award

Decorated San Bernardino police officer Edward Flores traced the beginning of a rewarding career in law enforcement with his decision to enroll in a criminal justice program at a career college. It wasn't an easy decision for someone who struggled in a traditional classroom setting, but once at school Flores found the inspiration he needed to finish a degree and then go on to accomplish more than he had imagined possible. Flores has become one of his department's most promising young officers after earning his associate's degree at Everest College in Ontario, Calif.
