Harris Corporation Awarded IT Services Contract to Support National Center for Health Statistics

Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS), an international communications and information technology company, has been awarded a potential three-year, $5.4 million contract to provide programming support and other IT services to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS). As the U.S. government's principal health statistics organization, NCHS is a unique public resource for information critical to public health and health policy. Harris has provided IT services to NCHS for the past 16 years. Under the contract, Harris will continue to support activities related to the collection, analysis and dissemination of health statistics....
