Marriott South Florida Business Council Community Leaders Support Children's Miracle Network Torch Relay and Green Customer Event

Last week, 85 members of the Marriott South Florida Business Council participated in the annual Torch Relay to support the Children's Miracle Network for a goal of $50,000 for its Miami Market. The Marriott SFBC is a joint philanthropic organization for all Marriott branded hotels throughout Ft. Lauderdale and Miami. The Miami Chapter raised $50,000.00 for the Torch Relay this year. The group hopes to surpass that figure for 2008 when the fundraising concludes in December 2008. All funds raised in South Florida will benefit Miami Children's Hospital.
