Hilliard & Munoz, L.L.P., Announces Lawsuit in Apartment Drowning of Houston Toddler



November 30th, 2008

Corpus Christi attorney Bob Hilliard is announcing a lawsuit and temporary restraining order filed against the owners of a Houston apartment complex where a 23-month-old boy recently drowned.

Conar Matthew Rose was found Oct. 27, 2008, at the bottom of the swimming pool at Vista Bonita Apartments in southeast Houston. Police suspect the boy walked through a gap in the fence surrounding the pool before falling in and drowning.

The lawsuit, filed late last Friday on behalf of Conar's mother, Misty Lynn Campos, alleges that New Sun Coast Apartments, L.L.C., and owner Nanik Bhagia were negligent in failing to maintain the fence around the pool and...
