Avicola Villalobos Attempts Expropriation of Shares

Following a recent landmark decision from the Supreme Court of Bermuda, confirming liability for long-standing allegations of fraud committed by companies controlled by Guatemalan business magnates Dionisio Gutierrez Mayorga and Juan Luis Bosch, the corporation has informed minority shareholder LISA, S.A. of their intention to exclude them from one of Avicola group of companies, and unlawfully expropriate their 1/3 share of ownership - a move seen as highly irregular and questionable in terms of minimum corporate governance standards.
