Victims of Crime to Benefit From Grants Awarded by Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency

Victims of crime across the state will be served through grants provided to counties and victim service programs announced by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD). Of the $20.5 million in grants, approximately $13.9 million was awarded to district attorney offices and victim service programs to provide advocacy for victims of adult offenders, including notification of court proceedings, court accompaniment, help with victim impact statements and assistance in filing claims with Pennsylvania's Victim Compensation Assistance Program (VCAP).
