The Parent Company Receives Nasdaq Delisting Notice

The Parent Company (NASDAQ: KIDS) announced that, as a result of the company's filing for voluntary protection under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code before the United States Bankruptcy Court in Wilmington, Delaware on December 28, 2008, on December 30, 2008 The Nasdaq Stock Market notified the company that the company's shares will be delisted from the Nasdaq Global Market. The company does not intend to take any further action to appeal Nasdaq's decision, and therefore it is expected that the company's common stock will be delisted effective after the close of trading on January 7, 2009.
