Akerman Senterfitt announced the continued expansion of its Washington, D.C. office with Scott Brenner joining the Government Affairs and Public Policy practice group. Mr. Brenner brings to Akerman more than 15 years of experience on Capitol Hill, more recently with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, where he was chief of external affairs for the Science and Technology Directorate, and with the U.S. Department of Transportation, where he served in a similar capacity.
