FEW Applauds Rep. Moran for Introducing FERS Sick Leave Bill

Federally Employed Women (FEW) applauds Rep. Jim Moran (D-8-VA) for introducing the Federal Employees' Retirement System (FERS) Sick Leave Bill. Enactment of this legislation is a top legislative priority for FEW members. "FEW asserts that we should not keep a system in place that strips federal workers of sick leave that they have earned over the years," stated Sue Webster, FEW's National President. "Our organization firmly believes these retiring workers should receive the same benefits as those retirees covered under the Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS)," Webster added.
