The American Academy of Forensic Sciences (the Academy) welcomes the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) report: Strengthening Forensic Science in the United States: A Path Forward. The Academy looks forward to working with the government and other organizations to fulfill the mandate of the report with research, certification, accreditation, and educational opportunities.
