American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Appoints Peter Mandell, MD, Chair of the Council on Advocacy

Peter J. Mandell, M.D. was named Chair of the Council on Advocacy at the 2009 Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) Dr. Mandell has served as past president of the California Orthopaedic Association and currently chairs its Workers' Compensation Committee. "I am looking forward to the opportunities and challenges that this new position as Advocacy Council Chair will bring," said Dr. Mandell. "I am thankful to my predecessor, Dr. David A.
