The Academy of General Dentistry's (AGD) third annual government relations conference, A Great Dentist Goes to Washington, March 9-10, will allow AGD constituent leaders and members to meet with members of Congress and their staffs to educate them on the issues and concerns of general dentists. On Tuesday, March 10, at 8:30 a.m. in the Rayburn Office Building Room B339, Senator Thad Cochran (R-MS) and Congressman John D. Dingell (D-MI15) will be presented with the 2009 Legislative Appreciation award, and Senator Benjamin L. Cardin (D-MD) will receive the Legislator of the Year award. Congressman Elijah E.
