Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP is pleased to announce that Thomas H. Dupree, Jr., formerly a top Department of Justice official, has rejoined the firm's Washington, D.C. office as a partner. Dupree will continue to focus on complex trial and appellate litigation. Dupree served in the Department of Justice from 2007 to 2009, most recently as the Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General. In that capacity, he served as the Civil Division's second-in-command, overseeing more than 900 lawyers in the Civil Appellate, Commercial, Federal Programs and Torts branches, as well as the Office of Immigration Litigation and the Office of Consumer Litigation.
