Emily Reinstein of Manhattan Beach, CA, now 16 years old, would give anything to dance with her father, but she can’t. Alan Reinstein died in 2006 of mesothelioma, a cancer of the lung caused from asbestos exposure. Losing someone you love is never easy, especially when you lose them to a disease that could have been prevented. Emily and her mother Linda Reinstein, executive director and co-founder of the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO), decided to turn their anger into action through education, advocacy and outreach.
