ADL Condemns Attack on Synagogues in Norfolk, Va.

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) strongly condemned recent reported vandalism found on several synagogues and streets in Norfolk, Va. The vandalism coincided with Adolf Hitler's birthday, a day which hate groups commemorate. "This violent desecration of Jewish synagogues and neighborhood streets must be recognized as an attack on the community that cares for it. These anti-Jewish, homophobic and racist slurs have inspired fear and feelings of vulnerability," said David C. Friedman, ADL Regional Director.
