Fitch Upgrades Lexington County Health Services District, Inc. SC Revs to 'A+'; Outlook Stable

Fitch Ratings has upgraded the underlying rating on approximately $272.3 million outstanding Lexington County Health Services District, Inc.'s (South Carolina) revenue bonds (issued on behalf of Lexington Medical Center) to 'A+' from 'A'. The Outlook is revised to Stable from Positive.

The rating upgrade to the 'A+' is supported by Lexington Medical Center's (LMC) continued operating profitability, solid liquidity, stable utilization trends based on LMC's leading market position with a strong provider network, and the completion of a major capital project resulting in a modernized plant; relevant outcomes anticipated when Fitch placed the ratings on Positive Outlook in...
