ICF Recommends Coaching Clients Use Written Agreements

A handshake deal or verbal agreement may work between neighbors, but when it comes to a business relationship, such as a coaching arrangement, the International Coach Federation (ICF) recommends coaching clients and their coach have a written agreement.

Almost two-thirds of professional coaches and their clients have a written contract or agreement in place for coaching services, according to the recent ICF Global Coaching Client Study(1).
