(NYSE Amex Equities: CGA; "China Green Agriculture" or "the Company"), a leading producer and distributor of humic acid ("HA") based liquid compound fertilizer through its wholly owned subsidiary, Shaanxi TechTeam Jinong Humic Acid Product Co., Ltd., announced that it has filed a shelf registration statement on Form S-3 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the 'SEC'), on June 8, 2009. The shelf registration, when declared effective, will permit China Green Agriculture to issue up to an aggregate of $50 million in equity-based and/or debt securities.
