NBA's Ronny Turiaf Joins Forces with Heart Group to Promote Heart Health

Today, Golden State Warriors player Ronny Turiaf announced a partnership with the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) at their 20th Annual Scientific Sessions in Washington, DC. During opening remarks for a session on echocardiograms for screening and prevention, Turiaf shared his own story about how echocardiography (heart ultrasound) helped to save his life. Turiaf recently formed The Ronny Turiaf Heart 2 Heart Foundation to provide funds for children who need echocardiograms and other heart tests.
